I mean, seriously...
"If [the media] convince enough voters that that is negative campaigning, for me to call Barack Obama out on his associations," Palin told host Chris Plante, "then I don't know what the future of our country would be in terms of First Amendment rights and our ability to ask questions without fear of attacks by the mainstream media."
I can't even address this without blowing a gasket, especially when Glenn Greenwald does the honors so vociferously.
And you want to run again in 2012 as the head of the ticket?

She is so much like Bush it is frightening.
Just when you think she's already said the stupidest thing she could possibly say, she tops it.
Amazing.
As long as the majority of our electorate is more likely to name all five members of the Simpson family than the five rights guaranteed to us by the First Amendment, we will get the candidates we deserve.
And as long as the media lets candidates like Sarah Palin get away with feeding this misinformation, we will get the campaigns we deserve.
Oh, and perhaps not obviously directly related, but check out what PBS is airing the night before Election Day.
anna, that's funny about PBS.
something tells me that she'll be the scapegoat for the downfall of the GOP as we know it, so i sort of doubt the GOP will support her in '12 if she tries to make any move.
As loathe as I am to even consider it... what happens if they win? Should McCain reprise his comeback kid role, imagine the state of the GOP then. Imagine the kowtowing to the Christian right. Imagine the lack of diplomacy. Imagine the mandate for Palinsanity.
Imagine me hightailing it out of this country.
