Meanwhile, Back At The SEI Compound

Non-political updates:

- Congratulations to SEI co-founder/contributor Deni, and his wife Lisa, for the birth of their baby daughter only known as S.A.M.; a pseudonym that brings to mind the name of a female cyborg in some cheesy 80s teen comedy.

- Speaking of birthdays, SEI contributor MomentOfChoice celebrated her own 25th birthday a couple of days ago, without much fanfare here. Happy belated birthday, MOC! Many happy returns.

- Lastly, there are some changes brewing behind the scenes here at SEI...Expect to learn more in the weeks ahead.

Deni had a Surface To Air Missile? He must be a proud papa.

I've read all the blogs and love it. Keep it up.

Congrats Deni! You are about to find out the horrors of ending Daylight Saving Time every autumn. I bid you much luck in convincing your baby that we all get an extra hour on Sunday.

Changes? Oooh, let me guess:

You've all found Jesus and the focus of the blog is going to change to reviews of Christian rock bands?

TBO has revealed his true identity as the Dalai Lama?

You're going to start posting in Khurdish?

Come on, spill!

Joe hits the trifecta.

Thanks all. I've actually taken to calling her Sam already instead of her actual first name, I kind of like it.

Thanks Jose, for putting it in that way. I've just got a weird bugaboo about putting my kid's full name on the net (I can't believe how many friend with kids have already told me I should start a Facebook page for her. Yea, I don't think so).

If anybody that was not on my email list wants to know my daughter's real name just let me know and I'll email it to you.

I may even let you know how her middle name is pronounced, that has become the first question everyone asks...
